The CA Dreaming Way
As a corporate executive and previous control freak, sleep was my priority as a new mom. I’m a scientist by nature with a background in biology, so when it comes to all things around my baby, I have a voracious appetite for evidence-based research. However, when I started to peer under the hood of baby sleep and sleep training, I learned there are a million opinions and, worse, tons of unnecessary mom shaming. I also found the methodologies were too complicated, too time-consuming, and too scattered. You had to buy one package, for one thing, one for another. And They all left me with a ton of questions! How do I transition out of a swaddle? How do I eliminate the pacifier? I found myself down a rabbit hole. Some had me doing math at 2 am and counting ounces and minutes for days. It just seemed like there was no room for flexibility or prioritizing the parents' time and welfare. Moms don’t need to be left with questions, or second guessing themselves. Especially at three in the morning.
I took bits and pieces of everything I found and designed my methodology with two things at the center:
Science or evidence backed
Flexibility and ease for the family
What you will get out of my program is a ‘soup to nuts’ guide to get your baby sleeping through the night, and most importantly, falling asleep independently. We begin with sleep foundations starting in the first few weeks, and progress to independent sleep, conquering every developmental phase your baby will go through in those first 6 months.
